Privacy Policy.

SDL Darts is a darts scoring, training and Stafford Singles Darts League companion app. This policy explains what information the app handles and why.

Data we collect

Account information

If you create an SDL account, we store your name, email address, password hash, optional nickname/location and your link to an official SDL player record where applicable.

App data

If you are signed in and cloud sync is enabled, we store your casual match history, training history, achievements, saved opponents and app preferences so they can follow you across devices.

League information

For linked SDL players, the app reads official league information such as division, table position, fixtures, statistics and attendance responses.

Support

If you send a support request, we store the name/email you choose to provide and your message so we can respond.

Camera

SDL Vision can request camera access to calibrate and analyse a dartboard. Camera frames are processed on your device in the current release and are not uploaded to SDL servers by the camera feature.

What we do not do

SDL Darts does not sell personal data, does not run third-party advertising and does not use cross-app tracking.

Why we use your data

Data is used for app functionality: signing you in, syncing your darts records, showing official SDL information, recording attendance and responding to support requests.

Storage and security

Account and synced data is stored in SDL's Cloudflare-hosted backend. Passwords are stored as one-way password hashes rather than plain text. Local app data may also remain on your device for offline use.

Your choices and deletion

You can export your local app data from Settings. Signed-in users can delete their SDL account from Settings. Account deletion removes the account, login sessions and synced personal app-data record from the SDL backend. Official league match records that form part of SDL's competition history are separate sporting records and are not treated as private app-account data.

Retention

App-account data is retained while your account remains active. Support requests may be retained while needed to resolve the request. Data we are required to retain for legitimate sporting, legal or administrative purposes may be kept where applicable.
